(Head Office: Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Mitsuru Nomura, hereinafter referred to as Toyama Daiichi Bank) announced that it will be introducing Managed Cloud Service on AWS, completely migrating its information systems to Amazon Web Services (AWS), and supporting operations and monitoring.
■Background
Toyama Daiichi Bank operated its information system on-premises, but the high initial costs associated with periodic system replacement and the workload associated with migration were issues. As the server maintenance deadline was approaching, we decided to migrate to AWS, which allows us to build a permanently usable infrastructure environment regardless of the server maintenance deadline.

■Future developments
At Toyama Daiichi Bank, we are considering building a system that is more suitable for the cloud, such as adopting a serverless method*1, in order to further utilize AWS for operational efficiency and service development. By utilizing the system, we aim to provide services with higher customer satisfaction.
