▼Overview
In January 2023, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) was adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of Europe in December 2022 as a new information disclosure guideline regarding corporate sustainability. All large companies and listed companies are now required to make various disclosures regarding sustainability, and many companies are struggling to comply. For example, carbon emissions, which are covered by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), can be expressed in units of weight (tons), but water and marine resources, which are required to be disclosed under the CSRD, How can we measure efforts and effectiveness in areas such as biodiversity and ecosystems? And what kind of technological developments are being made to restore damaged natural capital and improve measured values?
In this webinar, we will focus on “water” and “soil,” and will not only measure and quantify natural capital, but also provide specific examples such as technological trends for recovery and improvement, notable players, and research papers. , we will talk about the challenges that businesses will face in the future and
countermeasures.
Sustainable technology development is said to not only demonstrate environmental friendliness, but also lead to increased corporate value. At Astamuse, we have not only been involved in activities such as social contribution and SDGs initiatives, but also analyzed “sustainability” from the perspective of improving corporate value and investment, and have made concrete proposals to many businesses. We hope that this will be helpful in considering business plans and R&D strategies, how to proceed with initiatives for natural capital such as water and soil, in order to increase corporate value and
sustainability.
