APA Group (Headquarters: 3-2-3 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kazushi Motoya), a comprehensive urban development company that operates a hotel network across the country, today announced the planned site of APA Hotel – Tottori Ekimae (2 Tomiyasu, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture). APA Hotel – Tottori Ekimae – is the first newly built hotel in Tottori City. The hotel is located in front of Tottori Station, a 3-minute walk from Tottori Station on the San’in Main Line and Inbi Line, making it an ideal location for business and leisure needs.
The structure and scale will be a steel frame building with 8 floors above ground, 205 rooms in total, and a restaurant and public bath. The building will be designed by Nikki Sekkei Co., Ltd., constructed by Kumagai Gumi Co., Ltd., and supervised by Tsujimoto Design Office, and is scheduled to open in October 2025.
Currently in Tottori Prefecture, we are operating APA Hotel -Tottori Ekimae Minami- (*Scheduled to change hotel name from APA Hotel -Tottori Ekimae- on April 23, 2024) (Tottori City, 143 rooms in total, opening on March 25, 2008). As sales were strong, plans for a second building were moved forward. Including this project, there will be a total of 2 buildings with 348 rooms, and we are also considering using the two buildings in conjunction with mutual hotel check-in systems and large public baths. We will continue to strengthen the expansion of our APA hotel network in areas where demand is expected nationwide, while proactively pursuing a dominant strategy based on improvements in hotel management and personnel efficiency.
