environmental adaptation technologies to the world, will be hosting the “Disaster Prevention” event held in Indonesia from February 21st to 23rd, 2024. We are pleased to announce that CEO Munetoshi Kondo will be speaking as an invited speaker at the Global Forum on Disaster Solutions (GFDS).

(Official website https://gfds.ugm.ac.id/) Since international conferences specializing in disaster management are rare in Asian countries, the conference was co-hosted by the University of Tokyo in Japan and Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia. The purpose is to exchange knowledge, promote innovation, and promote international cooperation regarding disaster preparedness. This memorable first time, it was held at Gadjah Mada University. With the theme of “20 years since Aceh – Tsunami and Earthquake in Indonesia,” more than 100 experts mainly from Asia including Indonesia, China, Thailand, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea participated, including online.

Large-scale disasters occur regularly in Japan, starting with the Hyogo Prefecture Southern Earthquake in 1995, and each one teaches lessons, and disaster countermeasures are constantly being updated. We explained these latest trends using specific examples and
countermeasures, and introduced specific disaster countermeasures and technologies that are useful not only in Japan but around the world. During the Q&A session, participants answered enthusiastic questions and shared Japan’s experience in overcoming numerous disasters and its disaster prevention efforts.
This international conference was an opportunity to strongly feel that Japan’s sophisticated disaster prevention and environmental adaptation technologies can be applied across national borders. We will continue to actively promote our business and research and aim to contribute to the international community.

In 2010, he joined an HR startup as a new graduate and started and promoted a new consulting business that utilizes big data. Since 2016, he has been working at one of Japan’s largest human resources/sales promotion companies, promoting system and business consulting, new business launch, client success business, etc.
Founded a disaster prevention business in 2023, and has been selected for the “Overseas Expansion Support Program” sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the “Internationalization Promotion Internship Project” sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. In December of the same year, he founded SAKIGAKE JAPAN Co., Ltd., which continues to this day.
