The NPO Izakaya Koshien (location: Tokyo / Chairman: Yoshinobu Ujida) will hold the online event “IZAKAYA Expo 2024″ on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. This event focuses on various social issues surrounding the restaurant industry and serves as a place to update our values. The theme of this session will be “Evolution and opportunities in dining out that have been revealed through efforts to address the 2030 problem” and will be streamed free of charge online by inviting top performers.

Mr. Yusuke Arai, Representative Director, Kaokaokao Co., Ltd. When I was a student, I was good at mathematics. At university, I majored in psychology. After working as a psychology researcher, he entered the restaurant industry. With the mission of MISSON to spread Thai street food to the world, we have implemented a detailed strategy. Regarding management, I take the form of working alongside my personal vision, which is my “irreplaceable personal image.” As a result, the company has established a business model that achieves high annual sales and high operating profit margins, even though the number of stores is still small. So far, he has appeared on TV and in magazines more than 300 times. “Gacchiri Monday”, “Pittanko Kankan”, etc.
Mr. Junichiro Yano, Representative Director, Katamu Co., Ltd. Born in Nagoya, raised in Vancouver, Canada. My father, who works as a Japanese language teacher, admired Vancouver, so when I was in my second year of junior high school, my family moved there. Absorbing Vancouver’s culture and customs while communicating in broken English. After graduating from a local high school, he got a job at a sushi restaurant run by a Japanese owner. Two years later, he moved to Kita no Ie Goo Marketing Co. I met my mentor in life and decided to start my own business. After a year in Shanghai and a year of training at Teppen, he returned to Japan and established Katamu Co., Ltd. in 2007. Currently, there are 4 stores in Japan and 5 stores in Southeast Asia. Mr. Takao Yanagimoto TEPPEN(THAILAND)CO.,LTD. Owner and Representative Born in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture in 1986. 37 years old, member of the rugby club at Konan High School. Dropped out of Konan University. After working as a part-time worker for three years, I came across Keisuke Oshima’s book and attended a seminar, which led me to join Teppen Co., Ltd. at the age of 22. In 2016, seven years after working as a store manager and executive, he became the owner and
representative of TEPPEN (THAILAND) CO., LTD. at the age of 29. Currently, we have a total of eight izakaya and food court stores in Bangkok, including Izakaya Toppen. Ten new stores are scheduled to open in 2024.
