Ayumu Nishiguchi, a university student and resident of Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture, participated in harvesting figs, a specialty of Kawanishi City, and created a picture book, “The Wonderful Journey of a Fig-chan,” based on that experience. did. Mr. Nishiguchi requested that the picture book be donated to public facilities in the city, hoping that it would be useful for food education in the city, and a donation ceremony was held on March 28th.

Among the works, Mr. Nishiguchi requested that the picture books be used not only for the promotion of agriculture but also for the food education of children, and offered to donate them to public facilities in the city such as libraries and community centers. A donation ceremony was held.

Mr. Nishiguchi also said, “I created it with the hope that people would not only eat figs, but also learn about Kawanishi City.I’m happy that the city uses them.”
