The 13th episode takes a closer look at the women who will be taking on skimo, a new sport at the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. After quitting his job at a large company and devoting himself to the sport, he suddenly falls ill…We explore the passion of a young athlete. Episode 13: “Running through the snowy mountains! Skimo will be a new event at the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. It is a very physically demanding sport that requires walking while wearing skis, running with the skis, and sliding down the skis.

The main character of this episode, Ayaka Ueda (31), is taking on the challenge of such a grueling competition called “skimo.” After getting a job at a large company, he fell in love with skimo when he was 25 years old, and two years later he won runner-up at the Japan Championship. Thanks to my track and field experience up until high school, I quickly distinguished myself.
