Onishi Co., Ltd. certified as a 2024 Health and Productivity Management Organization (Small and Medium Enterprise Category) *Evaluating the company’s efforts to pay for breast cancer screening and holding health events for disease prevention and early detection* Small and Medium Enterprise Category Certification Logo Mark Onishi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Hiroshi Onishi), which operates a general distribution business, is a “Health and Productivity Management Organization Outstanding Corporation” jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi.
We are pleased to announce that we have been certified for the first time in 2024 (Small and Medium Enterprise Category).

* ○Prevention of disease outbreaks for all employees*
Recognizing individual issues as issues that should be addressed by the company as well, we provided information on healthcare and held events that were easy to participate in.
・Implementation of “Veget Check (check of vegetable intake sufficiency)”* Based on the previous year’s health checkup, which found that a certain number of respondents said they had no intention of improving their lifestyle habits, we are working to cultivate health awareness not only among those who are health conscious, but also among those who are not concerned about their diet. In order to raise awareness of lifestyle improvements, we held an event using a device that can easily check the level of vegetable intake with a sensor. It is divided into two sessions, providing an opportunity to quantify the effects before and after improving your diet.

・Implementing breast cancer self-check seminars and expanding the range of people eligible for breast cancer screening at company expense
The peak incidence of breast cancer is among people in their late 40s, who have many responsibilities at work and at home, and are in their prime working age.This project was conducted with the aim of increasing the rate of breast cancer screening applicants from the perspective of early detection and preventive medicine. Propose and promote breast awareness (a lifestyle that makes breasts conscious), and educate people about how to apply for mammography as an option during regular health checkups.
* ○Optimizing working hours, ensuring work-life balance and living hours* ・Increase in annual holidays
・Establishment of an hourly paid acquisition system that allows you to choose between “before work, after work, and after work”
・Adjust work system (a system that adjusts and expands working hours to the optimal time depending on the day while maintaining highly productive organizational management) *Started from November 2019 onwards
