“Seiko Golden Grand Prix Athletics 2024 Tokyo” will be held at the National Stadium on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

)” We would like to inform you of the athletes scheduled to
participate in the men’s high jump as follows. (As of March 29, 2024) Woo Sang-hyuk (South Korea), silver medalist at the Oregon 2022 World Championship and 6th place finisher at the Budapest 2023 World Championship, has been confirmed to participate! At last year’s competition, he filled the venue with excitement with his spectacular jumps. His personal record is 2.36m, which he set in February 2022, and he has already jumped over 2.30m in indoor competitions in the 2024 season, winning a bronze medal at the Glasgow 2024 World Indoor Championships.
Also scheduled to participate are Brandon Stark (Australia), who finished 5th at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and has a personal record of 2.36m, matching U’s, and Joel Barden (Australia), who came in 2nd place last year and has a personal record of 2.33m.
From Japan, Ryoichi Akamatsu (Awards), who finished 8th at the Budapest 2023 World Championships and won his second consecutive title at the Tehran 2024 Asian Indoor Championships, and Mano, who finished 8th at the Oregon 2022 World Championships and won the bronze medal at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games. Tomohiro (Kyudenko) and Naoto Hasegawa (Niigata Albirex RC), Japan representative for the Budapest 2023 World Championship, have been confirmed to participate!

The world’s best One-Day event other than the Diamond League (14 tournaments designated in 2023) hosted by World Athletics (WA, World Athletics Federation)
