“Supporters College (Supokare)” for support staff working at welfare service facilities for people with disabilities is “Thinking about the work of people with disabilities” (https://live-learning.jp
/post-kougi/01240400/). We have updated the content distributed in December 2018 by comparing it with the latest information and the current working environment. It can be said that the environment surrounding society has changed significantly over the past five years. The employment situation is changing, and population decline and labor shortages are becoming more serious problems. What do you think about the working environment for people with disabilities and the meaning of “work”? Also, what do you think about the working environment of everyone who supports this and the meaning of “work”? Whether you are viewing it for the first time or have seen it before, please check it out to stay updated on the latest trends. Lectures on important perspectives. →Click here for “Thinking about work for people with disabilities” https://live-learning.jp/post-kougi/01240400/Comment from the producer The number of births in Japan is the lowest in statistical history. The proportion of the working-age population (15 to 64 years old) is also decreasing, and there is a shortage of labor in all industries. However, as mentioned in the lecture, the current situation may be an opportunity to create a system in which people with disabilities can work and live. I believe that the efforts of everyone involved in employment support are contributing to the development of disability welfare and confronting contemporary social issues. I think it will be extremely helpful for anyone working in employment-related services, so please take a look. → Click here for “Thinking about work for people with disabilities”
