Nanako Akiyoshi, founder and CEO of JAYID Co., Ltd., majored in war studies at a British graduate school.
Studies, I have been particularly researching the issue of
responsibility and reconstruction after the end of the war.
The people who are most severely affected by war are always those in vulnerable positions, such as children and women. As the CEO himself was raising two children, he felt a strong desire to support those people, and he wanted to leverage his company’s strengths to provide support.

Since the beginning of recorded history, not a single day has passed without wars and conflicts occurring in the world. War has a deep and long relationship with humanity. Eradicating such wars cannot be easy. But if you don’t believe you can do it, it will never go away.

On the other hand, “thinking” alone will not change the world. We believe that the important thing is to take action. There may be limits to what a single person can do. But even if it’s a small thing, take action first… This will eventually become a big wave that will change the world.
The world has undergone many major changes.

Nanako Akiyoshi
King’s College, University of London, UK
Graduated with a master’s degree in war studies. Joined Recruit Co., Ltd. in 2007. During his tenure, he was mainly responsible for external public relations and branding. At a subsidiary, he has been involved in starting up public relations functions from scratch and in management planning.
After retiring in 2015, I was involved in launching a health tech venture’s Singapore subsidiary, and moved to Singapore alone with my then 5-year-old child. After returning to Japan, he worked at a strategic consulting firm and started JAYID, a strategic public relations company, in 2018.
