About Paralym Art (General Incorporated Association, Organization for the Promotion of Independence of Persons with Disabilities)
“Paralyn Art” aims to realize “a world where people with
disabilities can make their dreams come true through art” and conducts social contribution projects that can continue to support people with disabilities through the cooperation of private companies and individuals. Many people with disabilities face issues such as a lack of understanding from those around them about their participation in society and financial hardship, and the current situation is that there is still a lack of mechanisms to resolve these issues. Paralym Art plays the role of a bridge to have the works (paintings, designs, etc.) of artists with disabilities used as art by various companies and organizations. By paying fees to artists and facilities for people with disabilities, we promote their social participation and economic independence.
Artist registration is free, and as of March 2024, approximately 450 artists have registered. We not only promote the independence of people with disabilities, but also continue to create places where they can demonstrate their talents and take on challenges.
