The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto (Location: 420 Funayacho,

We have teamed up with Hamada Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ichikikushikino City, Kagoshima Prefecture, President: Yuichiro Hamada), which is engaged in sake brewing with this goal, to carry out a project that will help spread the appeal of Japan. Cocktails devised based on shochu will be sold from April 1, 2024 (Monday), which marks the 2nd anniversary of the opening. *The character for “hama” is an old font.

We use an innovative shochu based on aroma called “Spicy & Citrus”, and enjoy the balance and harmony with Japanese sake and “Kyoto Gin”.

“While looking for ways to make use of the distinctive scent, we came up with a cocktail recipe for Daime and CHILL GREEN.A perfect drink to enjoy before returning to your room after sightseeing in Kyoto, or for relaxing after work. This is the perfect cocktail. Please feel free to drop by.”
-Relaxation (Ikoi)-

The meaning of “Daimeme” is “heal your fatigue with a drink” in this cup. The cocktail name is “Ikoi”. Mixed with Japanese black tea, which is said to have a relaxing effect, and using cherry blossom syrup, the cherry blossom scent and light pink color create a sense of peace in both the sense of smell and the sight. The edge of the glass uses olives and tree buds to express the lychee, which is the characteristic of Daime’s aroma. Enjoy a moment to relieve your daily fatigue.

-Sara-

A shochu and sake cocktail that you’ve probably never tried before (the sake is Tsuki no Katsura from Fushimi, Kyoto). The name “Sara” was inspired by the color (pale yellow) of the Sara tree’s flowers, and the word “Sara”, which means new in the Kansai dialect, was added. We chose a name that is easy for overseas customers to pronounce. A mix of the world-recognized “unexplored aroma” of Taidaime and the good old depth of Japanese sake.Using spring-like kumquats as an item to connect the two, the refreshing sweetness creates a one-of-a-kind cocktail with a sense of unity. I finished it. -Early Green (Samidori)-

Early green is a word that refers to young leaves and young grass. The botanical barley shochu Chill Green’s “chill” (calming and relaxing) and “green” (natural feel) create a cocktail image. We use Kyoto Gin and Sencha tea to create a Kyoto-like atmosphere. Like young leaves that are about to grow, we sensed the unknown potential of shochu cocktails, so we named it “Soon Green”. Enjoy the harmony of shochu and Kyoto.

The authentic potato shochu “DAIYAME” was released in 2018, on the 150th anniversary of its founding, with the concept of “unexplored fragrance” as an authentic shochu that will lead the next generation of the industry. It has a surprisingly refreshing and gorgeous lychee-like aroma, a sweet and mellow taste, and a sharp aftertaste. Daime is a Kagoshima dialect that means “to heal your fatigue with a drink.” This product, which overturns the common sense of potato shochu, is supported by drinkers who are not familiar with authentic shochu, and is attracting attention as a pioneer in the category of “fragrant shochu,” which has become a hot topic in the alcohol industry in recent years. .
