Ofuro Cafe Hareniwa no Yu (Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture), a hot spring bathing facility operated by Onsen Dojo Co., Ltd. (Tokigawa Town, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture, Representative Director Hisaki Yamazaki), will hold a Golden Week event on the rooftop during the following period. We will be holding a “shellfish picking experience”.

We created this event with the idea that we could experience clam hunting at a bath shop in Kumagaya without having to go to the beach. There is no need to worry about the timing of low tide. We will provide all the necessary tools, so please come empty-handed. Even if you’re covered in sand, taking a bath will leave you clean and refreshed! Please eat “clam steamed” at the restaurant and relax in the hotel.
This event will be held in collaboration with Sakanato Co., Ltd., which operates a recycling-based land-based mackerel aquaculture business in Saitama Prefecture. Sakanato will maintain the clam breeding environment and create a sandbox using seawater. This event will be held as an opportunity to think about “fish-eating culture” and “sea resources.”

(This is the time from the explanation of the rules to the time of exit. The clam-picking experience takes about 30 minutes)

Target age: 3 years old to elementary school student
