G-VIS Co., Ltd. aims to create a world where the culture and expression of Japan’s proud anime and the power of creators are combined to the fullest.
Japanese anime is already great, but there are many issues inherent within the industry.
Considering that so many great works are being created every day despite issues such as a lack of wages and numbers for animators, I think that once these issues are resolved, even more great works will be created in anime. I’m thinking about it.
In addition, if not only commercial animation but also individual creators can create high-quality animation, works that are difficult to create in commercial production, new expression methods, and challenging works will be born, and animation will further develop. I think so.
In order to realize that future, one of the challenges we are currently working on is automating the process of “video finishing” in anime production.

Many anime production companies currently rely on outsourcing this process overseas due to a lack of manpower, and it accounts for one-third of the total production cost.
We are also working on automating mouth and eye movements and streamlining background art.
