*Introducing a day in the life of a father who is enjoying raising children through remote and flexible work*
This press release is a dream sent out by a business operator who sympathizes with the April Dream project and wants to make April 1st a day full of dreams, hoping to make them come true.
Hatakana – A comprehensive human resources service that supports the realization of work styles that suit individual lifestyles – Server Free Co., Ltd., which operates “ Hatakana” (hereinafter referred to as Hatakana), supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st the day to spread dreams.
This press release is a dream of “Server Free Co., Ltd.”

▶︎What we aim for
Balancing work and childcare is now a big problem not only for mothers but also for fathers.
If only dads could be more absorbed in raising children…
With ideas unique to dads, you can play with your kids to the fullest. By making time for fathers to raise children, mothers can take the reins and increase their working hours.
Both mom and dad worked remotely, and the family traveled around the world.

* We will increase the number of working fathers and create a new standard for families. *
▶︎The beginning of the matter
|* Is the secret skill of working mothers to ensure that fathers have time to raise their children? ! *
Since the start of our service, Hatakana has been matching jobs that allow for “shortened hours” and “work from home,” with a focus on housewives and mothers who have the desire to work but cannot work full-time due to childcare, nursing care, transfers, etc. I did.

When I heard the thoughts and circumstances of working mothers, “If we can increase the number of people involved in childcare, the way mothers work may change.”
“If dads’ work styles changed, they would have more time to raise children…” I couldn’t help but become keenly aware of the ideals that I understand but have not yet realized.

However, these days, there are more and more options for working styles. If it became more standard than now for each person to make a choice that suits their lifestyle, fathers would have more time to raise children, and the way families work could be changed.
Dads may also be able to enjoy raising their children more.

Family circumstances vary.
Hatakana dreams of creating many new forms of family life, with the freedom to choose the work style that suits each person as a matter of course.

▶︎* I am enjoying raising my children! I would like to introduce Hatakana’s Papa member Mr. A’s thoughts and feelings on a certain day. *

8:00 am: Pick up and drop off the younger child from school (my wife picks up and pick up the older child)
8:30am Start of work (work from home)

17:30 Finished work, picked up younger child
18:00 Bath (with child)
19:00 Preparation for dinner, dinner with family
21:00 Preparation for bed
10pm: Bedtime (I fell asleep a lot)

[What led me to the current way of working]
Mr. A: Because I had a child during the coronavirus pandemic, the company I was working at at the time made me work completely remotely, and I played with my child during breaks. My wife also works, and since I’m on dinner duty, I can make dinner right after work, which has been very helpful.
When my second child was born and I decided to send my children to nursery school and start working, I felt like the world was going back to going to work.
had. When you take into account commuting, I don’t get home until after 8pm, which puts a huge burden on my wife, and I also think it’s lonely to go home and find the kids are asleep. After all, I wanted to work mainly remotely. During that time, I met Hatakana, which led me to the way I work now.

[Advantages and disadvantages of the current way of working] Advantages: Children are still in their early stages of life, and it often takes a long time to pick them up and drop them off in the morning, so there is plenty of time to spare as there is no commuting time*
I have it. Also, I can do housework and prepare dinner during my breaks. Disadvantages: There are some situations where it is difficult to understand remotely (online), such as when receiving system
explanations. However, I am able to handle such complex interactions when I go to work.

[Advantages I feel in raising children]
* I have a lot of time to spend with my children *
That’s it! Wake up with your child every morning, eat breakfast together, pick them up and drop them off, pick them up, take a bath together, eat dinner and go to bed at the same time…this is * I think there are still very few dads who are able to do this every day.

[Future outlook]
Currently, I work at my main job during the day, and as a side job I do web marketing-related work (SNS management, etc.) that I can do whenever I have free time. *
I don’t want to give up on what I want to do because I have children, but rather do what I want to the best of my ability and tell my children, “Dad is having fun at work every day!” I want to be able to say it with pride*
That’s what I think.
Although time is limited, I believe that depending on how you use it, you can do an infinite number of things, so I would like to continue to try as many different things as possible.
