Piers Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Kuwano, hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a joint venture between H.I. Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masanori Fushimi) and SBI Holdings. We would like to inform you that SBI Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chairman and President: Yoshitaka Kitao, hereinafter referred to as the “SBI Group” together with its consolidated subsidiaries) has entered into a capital and business alliance. In conjunction with this capital and business alliance, the Company will sell all of its shares in H to the SBI Group, and the gain on sale will be recorded as non-operating income.
Furthermore, we believe that the impact of this matter on our business performance will be minimal.
