A “VR learning experience session” was held at the Izumiotsu City Digital Trial held on March 24th (Sunday). [Event report]
*～Experience the world of VR～*
REDEE Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Mitsuyama
Yuki) is a general incorporated association that is working on cutting-edge digital education in collaboration with Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture (Mayor: Kenichi Minamide) and the Public-Private Partnership Promotion Organization (Representative Director: Atomi Takase). Together with our corporate member companies, we will contribute to improving the digital literacy of the citizens of Izumiotsu City by cooperating with the “Izumiotsu City Cutting-Edge Digital Trial” where parents and children can participate in cutting-edge digital experiences.
REDEE held a trial session for a VR rhythm game where you play by moving your whole body. We will introduce the details of the event below.
Situation of the day
Participants wore VR headsets and immersed themselves in the game’s world, where their movements were reflected in real time.
They used their bodies to avoid obstacles and took various poses while aiming for a high score. Participants were able to enjoy exercise while participating in the game, and many played with smiles and sweat.
The participants were very excited and seemed to be enjoying this new experience.
I also realized that by moving my body, I can enjoy playing games while taking care of my health.
The VR experience session ended with great success. Participants were reminded of the importance of using new technology to promote good health and have fun while exercising.
We would like to continue holding events like this in the future and provide healthy entertainment to even more people.
