*About the “Act on Promotion of Plastic Resource Recycling”*

The “Act on Promotion of Plastic Resource Recycling” was established on April 1, 2022 in order to address issues such as ocean pollution, plastic waste that affects the ecosystem, and climate change. In order to regulate and reduce the use of single-use plastics, guidelines have been set for lodging businesses to rationalize the use of products that use specific plastics (hairbrushes, combs, razors, shower caps, toothbrushes). Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide Co., Ltd. once again supports this initiative and aims to further reduce plastic waste emissions.
