Sponsored by Seishin Central Hall, “Layers” will be performed on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Seishin Central Hall (inside the Nadeshiko Arts Center, 1-1-1 Mikatadai, Nishi-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture). Synopsis Layers is a one-man play depicting 10 minutes of a family’s day. The repeated images and characters intersect. I can say this because I am a family member. Things I can’t say because I’m family. What new perspectives emerge by dismantling and rebuilding clumsy family bonds? doublet In 2014, scriptwriter/director Ishisone and
producer/translator Maddy presented their work at the world’s largest theater festival, “Edinburgh Festival Fringe,” held in Scotland every August. Since then, in addition to performing his works in the UK every year, he has also held workshops and created videos in Japan.
