Looking back on the three years at Seahorse Mikawa U18
It was really great to be able to work in the Seahorse Mikawa U18 environment for three years. I want to utilize the experience I have gained over the past three years to play an active role in college basketball.
My favorite memory from my time with Seahorse Mikawa U18
In my first year with the team, we won all the games in the “B.LEAGUE U18 REGIONAL LEAGUE 2021-Central District-” tournament.
[Image 2: https://prtimes.jp/i/97825/430/resize/d97825-430-17f028348818fcb565f8-1.jpg&s3=97825-430-1b537e90fa7203129a8ca892cf134f04-533×801.jpg] What I like about this team is that it can’t be beat by any team. When the team is doing well, everyone on the court and on the bench laughs and enjoys playing basketball.
Most memorable match
The last tournament, “B.LEAGUE U18 CHAMPIONSHIP 2023”, is the most memorable. We had a good chance of making 3-point shots, but I think we could have done more. I was also impressed by the fact that the four third-year students stood on the court at the end.
Among the players you played against, who influenced you?
This is Ryuto Kido, one grade above me. When I was in my first or second year, he was a reliable ace who led the team.

I will continue playing basketball in college, so I would like to use what I learned at Seahorse Mikawa U18 to play an active role in college.

Looking back on the three years at Seahorse Mikawa U18
The three years at Seahorse Mikawa U18 went by in a blink of an eye. I’m very grateful to Mr. Kazu (Head Coach Takashima) who helped me grow to this point even though I couldn’t do anything, and Mr. Harada (Manager) who always supported me when I was having a hard time. Thank you for supporting me since my first year. It was great to be able to play for the Seahorse Mikawa U18 for three years.

This is the Nagano expedition in December of the first year (2021). Although there were few people and some were injured, we fought with only five members. Although it was physically demanding, I had a great experience.
What I like about this team is that it can’t be beat by any team. It’s a place where everyone gets along well.
Among the players you played against, who influenced you?
This is Ryoo Sato of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins U18.
He has great handling ability and the ability to score, but in addition to his skills, he also leads the team with his voice, which makes me want to do my best as well.

It’s defense. I still remember what I was taught as a freshman, such as how to defend in one-on-one situations and when to take a steal.

I would like to utilize what I have learned over the past three years at university. Thank you for what you have done.

Looking back on the year and a half at Seahorse Mikawa U18
I am really glad that I joined the Seahorse Mikawa U18 team. It was a very enjoyable year and a half, and I met some interesting friends.
[Image 7: https://prtimes.jp/i/97825/430/resize/d97825-430-4b95c468ee4eaf5e01eb-1.jpg&s3=97825-430-060b99f7dbc570e8d06195c5dc84d35b-800×533.jpg] My favorite memory from my time with Seahorse Mikawa U18
“B.LEAGUE U18 CHAMPIONSHIP 2023” held in Tochigi Prefecture is my favorite memory.
What I like about this team is that it can’t be beat by any team. We all get along very well, and although we sometimes fought and argued during practice, I think it’s good that we quickly got back on track and became good friends.
Among the players you played against, who influenced you?
This is Waraku-kun, who was my teammate. Waraku was very good at defense and no matter what, I couldn’t dribble past him, so I felt like I couldn’t beat him.
[Image 8: https://prtimes.jp/i/97825/430/resize/d97825-430-1827580fd22c8364633c-1.jpg&s3=97825-430-f18a475798de9a2ee07dbc976fc9a311-800×533.jpg] Of all the things I learned from HC Kazuki Takashima, what sticks in my mind the most?
This is how to use Eurostep. What I remember most is that when I performed techniques such as the euro step, I was told to “watch the defense while doing it.”
Aspirations for the future
From April, I will start living as a member of society, so I will become a member of society who will be responsible for my actions and will be able to adhere to time and rules!

Looking back on the year and a half at Seahorse Mikawa U18
Although it was a short period of time, it was a year and a half in which I was able to grow as a person.

“B.LEAGUE U18 CHAMPIONSHIP 2023” was the last tournament. This is because everyone gave their all to the match.
What I like about this team is that it can’t be beat by any team. It’s a place where everyone has fun playing basketball.
Most memorable match
It is a match against Yokohama B Corsairs U18 of “B.LEAGUE U18 CHAMPIONSHIP 2023”.

This is Kazuraku Nishimoto from the same team. DF was amazing and influenced me to try my best.
Of all the things I learned from HC Kazuki Takashima, what sticks in my mind the most?
Coach Takashima has taught me the importance of being a defender since I joined the team.
Aspirations for the future
I would like to continue to utilize the experience I gained with Seahorse Mikawa U18 in the future.
