From 8:30 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, we will bring you the footage of “[Marvel & Star Wars Special Program] #DisneykkoRadio@Super Voice Actor Festival 2024″, which was distributed on Niconico Live Broadcasting. “Disneykko Radio” brings together voice actors who have appeared in Disney works, as well as voice actors and talents who love Disney works, and introduces notable works that can be enjoyed on Disney Plus and in theaters, as well as talks and variety events related to the works. This is a special program to expand. This time, we have a special feature on Marvel works and Star Wars works! We invited voice actors and fans of the works as guests to introduce the charm and highlights of each work. The MCs were Hikaru Midorikawa and Junichi Suwabe, and the guests were Yasuyuki Kase, Daisuke Hirakawa, Aina Aiba, Tomoyuki Morikawa, Daisuke Namikawa, Shizuka Ito, Shuhei Sakaguchi, KAIRYU (MAZZEL), and HAYATO (MAZZEL).

The program started with Midorikawa and Suwabe’s title call. The two MCs immediately talked about their love for Marvel and Star Wars, and while looking at the script, they happily said, “The content is so packed that I don’t know if it will end in this length!” (Suwabe). The guests introduced themselves by pretending to be their favorite works or characters for whom they were the voice actors.
The first talk topic was about “Deadpool & Wolverine” (released simultaneously in Japan and the US on 7/26). A radical and hilarious action-entertainment blockbuster depicting the exploits of Deadpool and Wolverine, the most outrageous heroes in movie history, will finally be released in theaters this summer. After watching the latest preview video that was just released the day before the broadcast, the cast, including Kase, who has played Deadpool in the series so far, explained the highlights and points to help you enjoy the work even more. . There is also a scene in which Morikawa, Aiba, and Sakaguchi pretend to be Deadpool and speak their lines, as if they were auditioning for a role, in front of Kase, who has not yet received an official offer for a new work. When Kase performed his role at the end, the cast members responded with comments such as “It looks similar!” and “It might be the closest one!” We received comments from viewers such as “This is this! This is it!!!” and “What do they look like lol?”

[Image 3:×1188.jpg] At the end of the corner introducing various collaboration
information, KAIRYU and HAYATO from the dance and vocal group MAZZEL, who have collaborated with Marvel on products, appeared as special guests. The event was a great success as the two talked about their episodes and introduced the MAZZEL member logos created by Marvel designers. In addition, two special guests will also be involved in a variety project titled “Don’t mix it up!? Unreasonable acting showdown”. The content is to perform an etude by combining “who”, “scene”, and “dialogue” drawn at random. Namikawa, who was selected as the top batter, has a cloudy expression due to the difficult task, but manages to get through it. Even after that, there was laughter on set as HAYATO, Morikawa, and Ito struggled through difficult situations and completed their tasks.

What followed was a “Deadpool & Wolverine” catchphrase, “These two, ‘Don’t mix them up, it’s dangerous!'” and “Are they actually the strongest!? I’m the best!? We had a food presentation showdown.” This is a project where participants present their subjective combinations of foods that they think are mismatched at first glance, but they actually go well together, and compete in presentations. In the team competition, one representative from each team gave a 30-second presentation, and then his teammates ate the fruit. I talked about my impressions of the food in the most delicious voice (good voice, cute voice). The representative of the first team is Namikawa. “Similar to Etude, are you being invited just for this (variety corner)? They didn’t shake me even once during the Deadpool introduction corner,” said Namikawa, pointing at the MC. The viewers seemed to be laughing, saying, “It’s so funny lol,” “That’s why lol,” and “Namikawa-san, you can rest assured lol.” Namikawa proposed “banana x mayonnaise.” Even though I try my best to give a presentation, I end up running out of time and thinking, “Time is too short!” After that, Namikawa’s enthusiastic speeches such as “If you eat bananas and mayonnaise separately every day, they mix together” and “The ratio is 6:1” caused laughter in the studio, and Namikawa’s comments also filled the comments section. It looked like they were getting excited. The representative of the second team is KAIRYU. “This is actually something that group member SEITO has been eating a lot for a long time,” he said, introducing “Rice x Vanilla Ice Cream.” Aiba seemed uneasy about the visuals, and some commented, “It doesn’t look bad, but…” (Ito), but “It’s delicious! You can eat it!” (Ito) “Surprisingly good!” (Sakaguchi) Some seemed surprised by the unexpected deliciousness. Viewers made the same anxious impressions as the performers, such as “I wonder what it’s like” and “Wow,” as well as curious comments such as “I want to try it” and “I wonder what it tastes like.”

The talk theme in the middle of the program is “Star Wars: Acolyte.” The first two episodes of the new Star Wars drama series will be distributed exclusively on Disney Plus starting June 5th (Wednesday). The story is set approximately 100 years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (Episode 1), during the golden age of the Jedi, and depicts the mysteries of the galaxy and the rise of the dark side. The performers will explain the highlights using panels created based on previous series. In the story of “Lightsaber”, which is a symbol of the work depicting the golden age of the Jedi, Morikawa, who is troubled by the fact that his own lightsaber no longer glows, acquires a new lightsaber belonging to Obi-Wan Kenobi. There was also a scene. Next, the Japanese voice actor cast for Star Wars: Acolyte was revealed for the first time in the program. Fairouz Ai was chosen to play the role of Mei, one of the double protagonists, and MC Suwabe was chosen to play the role of Jedi Master Sol.
[Image 6:×1188.jpg] In the cast release video, he commented, “It’s me, me, me~!!” while moving his body, and after the scene returned to the studio, the cast congratulated him, saying “Congratulations!” and “Aaaaaaaaaaa!! !” and “Yay!” were flooded with comments from viewers. When asked by Midorikawa, “What was it like when you were chosen?”, Suwabe replied, “I was happy, because it was Star Wars.” Morikawa, who plays the role of fellow Jedi Obi-Wan, was watching the scene and livened up the atmosphere with a pun, saying, “It’s Suwabe’s Jedi era.” There is also a scene where all the cast members say to Suwabe, “Welcome to the world of Star Wars voice actors.” However, Hirakawa, who has never acted as a voice actor for Star Wars, bowed his head toward the screen and said, “I haven’t been welcomed. Thank you!” I received comments like “Hirarin lol” and “It looks like it’s coming out.” A preview video of the Japanese dubbed version of Star Wars: Acolyte, which was released for the first time and included Suwabe’s voice, was also aired.
Finally, using a dummy head microphone (dummy head microphone), we held a “Listen to the words of darkness…stereo game” based on the theme of “Star Wars: Acolyte,” which is “Darkness is born in the age of light.” One person is the “listener” and the rest are the “speakers”, and all speak at the same time from behind the “listener”. It is a game where you listen to the “dark words” that only one person utters with a negative meaning. By placing the Damihe behind the “listener”, the audience can also hear their voices, so when the voice actors speak all at once, the audience hears “Isn’t it gorgeous!?” “Thank you for the meal!” “Good!” Reactions such as “Voice”. It was discovered that the theme of the second episode, “Become a habit,” contained negative words that even the viewers didn’t expect. When the performers realized that Hirakawa had uttered those words, they began to say things like, “Hirakawa!”, “That’s just a bad word,” and “I can’t believe you said that.” “(It was decided from the beginning) Why do I have to be blamed! (lol)” he protested. Viewers were excited, saying things like, “He’s a bad guy lol”, “He’s a bad guy with a good voice lol”, and “I can’t tell Hirakawa-san has a good voice lol”.

At the ending, Kase, who was called “today’s MVP,” concluded, “It seems like there’s going to be a lot going on in the future. I don’t know, but (lol) I had fun playing.” The program was extended from its original ending time and spent over two hours introducing the appeal of Marvel and Star Wars works. After the program ended, we received many positive comments from viewers.
