The Japan CEO Association (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Representative: Chiho Tanaka, hereinafter referred to as the Japan CEO Association) holds an audition format for those who are about to start a business, those who have already started a business, and those who are considering starting a new business. We will be holding a “CEO Audition – NEXT Unicorn -” to recruit “Presidents who aim to become unicorn companies” (including representatives working in teams). This project is co-sponsored by TBM Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Atsuyoshi Yamazaki, hereafter referred to as TBM), which develops new materials and resource recycling businesses and is recognized as a unicorn company, and Team Energy Co., Ltd.

The audition and screening of “CEO Audition – NEXT Unicorn -” will be distributed as sponsored content on TV Tokyo’s economic video distribution service “TV Tokyo BIZ”. The recruitment announcement video will be distributed from May 3, 2024 (Friday) on the official website of “TV Tokyo BIZ”, YouTube channel, e-mail magazine of “TV Tokyo BIZ” members, SNS, etc.

The CEO Audition is an audition for presidents based on the concept that “anyone can become a president.” In this project, we focus not on the president’s experience or business plan, but rather on discovering and producing the president’s individual personality and behavioral characteristics through screening. At the first CEO audition held in 2022, approximately 700 people from all over the country applied to become president.

The judges included President Yamazaki, founder and manager of TBM, a unicorn company, President Nakamura, founder of Team Energy, and others, and they discovered challengers who aspire to become unicorn companies, and the judges were serious about creating unicorn companies.
