Using match and player information through the team’s official app, we will further deepen connections with alumni, fans, stakeholders, and local residents, supporting long-term monetization.

Founded in 1971, one of the most powerful schools in the country, with two national championships, two national runner-up finishes, and 34 national tournament appearances. The high school football world has always been led by Komaba Gakuen High School FIGHTING GORILLAS, which has produced many players representing Japan. From 1971 to 2021, Hiromasa Yoshida, the first coach, led the team for half a century. From 2022, Junichi Shinoda will lead the team. has been appointed as the second head coach and led the team to its third national championship with a team of top-class high school coaches.The team’s philosophy is “Thoroughly done with the ordinary.”We value the ordinary and commonplace things, and are unrivaled. As a thorough sportsman, we value “greetings,” “replying,” and “working attitude,” and aim to develop human resources who can function in society through the ultimate sport of American football.

This is the first official app to be introduced in the high school football world. Our school, which boasts a 53-year history and has always been a leader in the high school football world, must take on various challenges in order to make further leaps forward. American football is still considered a minor sport in Japan.The revitalization of high school American football, which is the base of the American football world, is what is needed for the Japanese American football world, including the increase in the number of players, and will eventually lead to international competition. I think it will also improve my strength. With the aim of contributing to the spread and development of American football by playing a part in this, Komaba Gakuen High School FIGHTING GORILLAS continues to be a group that is not afraid of change and always takes on new challenges.
[Future outlook]
While preserving the glorious history (combat records) and traditions inherited by past alumni, we aim to become top-notch both as people and football players by providing guidance that matches the Reiwa era. Our goal is to disseminate as much information as possible so that alumni and OGs can feel closer to FIGHTING GORILLAS, and to continue to be a team worthy of support. What Player! WHITE aims to do
In each region across Japan, not only professional sports teams but also teams in various sports and categories operate daily. Teams aiming for the professional category, teams competing in their own leagues, and student club activities at universities and high schools. These “local sports teams” involve the local community, connect with fans, and enliven the area.
However, many local sports teams do not have as much staff or funding as professional teams. We have to manage many tasks with a small number of staff members, and we have to make do with little funds, so we have to focus more on keeping the team alive than making the team stronger and winning. .
