Today, May 5th (Sunday), the Ibaraki Robots’ 2023-24 season official game schedule has concluded with the game against Utsunomiya Brex. Record: 12 wins, 48 losses, 8th place in the East Region. We apologized for causing concern to everyone, but in the end we were able to successfully continue with B1, making it a season that we are proud of. Before the start of the season, the slogan “Agaroo 4000” was raised, “1. Achieve an average attendance of 4,000 people and advance to B.LEAGUE PREMIER (entry), 2. Improve your results (35 wins), and 3. Enliven the venue.” I set this goal. As a result, 1. Thanks to boosters, sponsors, the government, local organizations, and everyone involved, the average number of attendees was 4,619, sales were over 1.2 billion yen (estimated), and the arena renovation budget was approved by the Mito City Council. As a result, we have a certain prospect of entering B.LEAGUE PREMIER. 2. Record: 12 wins, 48 losses, 8th place in the East region, 22nd place overall. Midway through the season, we revised our goal from 35 wins to staying in B1, and we were able to achieve the minimum goal. 3. The enthusiastic support of the Robots Boosters and their performances at home games were praised by many other clubs. Regardless of whether the team is home or away, I think the level of support for the Robots has gone up one notch this season. Thanks to the effects of the World Cup held last summer, I have heard a lot about basketball and robots on the streets over the past season, and I have noticed that I have had more opportunities to see people wearing posters, banners, and merchandise. I’m here. The fact that we were able to grow so much as a club over the course of one season is thanks to the support and encouragement of our sponsors, fans and boosters, local residents, and everyone involved. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank you once again. Thank you very much. Next season will be the 10th anniversary of the Robots. Looking ahead to the B.LEAGUE PREMIER, which begins in two years, we must make this a season of further evolution. I hope that we will continue to work together to create a club called Ibaraki Robots. We look forward to your continued support next season. Ibaraki Robots Sports Entertainment Co., Ltd.
Representative Director and President Daisuke Nishimura
