【story】
Oda Nobunaga, who advocated the unification of Japan, was engaged in a fierce battle against the Mori army, Takeda army, Uesugi army, and the temples and shrines of Kyoto, but in the midst of this, Nobunaga’s vassal Murashige Araki rebelled and disappeared. Nobunaga gathers his vassals, including Hideyoshi Hashiba and Mitsuhide Akechi, and orders them to search for Murashige using his inheritance as bait. Murashige was captured by Hideyoshi’s younger brother Hidenaga and military commander Kuroda Kanbei and handed over to Mitsuhide, but for some reason Mitsuhide hides Murashige instead of killing him. Frustrated by not knowing Murashige’s whereabouts, Nobunaga begins to turn his suspicions in an unexpected direction. However, it was all a set trap. Who is the mastermind? What will happen to the power struggle? A turbulent development that completely overturns historical facts begins to move towards the “Honnoji Incident” – prepare for the shock. Cast: Beat Takeshi, Hidetoshi Nishijima, Ryo Kase, Shido Nakamura, Yuichi Kimura, Kenichi Endo, Tadanobu Asano, Naoto Omori, Kaoru Kobayashi, Kazunori Kishibe
