“WWDJAPAN” editor-in-chief Kaname Murakami will explain the points he keeps in mind when creating articles, taking into account the characteristics of digital users on “WWDJAPAN.com.” In addition to the “inverted triangle rule,” which is known as a general writing technique when writing news articles, there is also the method of conveying one’s intentions by continuing sentences in the active voice, techniques for elaboration that can be made shorter and more concise, and how to write concise sentences. He will show off the writing skills he has learned and learned from his 20-year career as a reporter, such as how to emphasize the way you live by incorporating it into your work.

* 2nd period: 14:10~15:10 (60 minutes) *

* “Interview” know-how and output, public interview with Kaname Murakami * Understanding and communicating the thoughts of the people who created products and services is important not only for sales but also for branding. We will invite guest editors and reporters who, like Kaname Murakami, receive dozens or even hundreds of press releases every day, to discuss news releases that make you want to write about them or cover them. What is the title of a release email that makes editors and reporters stop? How to write and include photos to help people understand the outline within a limited amount of time? And what is the desired way to send data? Currently, the techniques of guests who sometimes write press releases are fully disclosed. It is full of real stories from the media side that many PR and agency personnel wanted to hear but were unable to hear.

* Assignment feedback and advice on brushing up *
For those in the practical course who attempted to write articles about public interviews during the second period, Kaname Murakami carefully corrected each assignment and returned it to them. We will discuss the mistakes that many of you have made, points that can still be improved, and think about ways to improve while introducing issues that are full of deficits (!?). We will also answer any questions or concerns that were not covered.
