The Kyoto qualifying rounds for the world’s largest business pitch contest, “Startup World Cup,” will be held at Kyoto University on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Kyoto, a sacred place for Japanese culture and manufacturing, is actively engaged in innovation activities that will create “the next 1000 years” based on its deep and rich history. This conference was co-hosted with the Kyoto University Graduate School of Management, which is a central player in the field of academia, and is a conference that strengthens industry-academia collaboration. Under the theme of the competition, “For Japan to shine in the world once again,” startups that will spread their wings from Kyoto to the world and build the next generation will be selected. This global pitch contest will be judged by judges who are experts in and leaders in the venture industry. Please come and watch the heated pitch contest at the venue!
