Background of the establishment of Sendai branch
From April 2024, the upper limit on overtime work for truck drivers will be regulated to 960 hours per year.The “2024 problem” is a collective term for the various problems that will arise due to the cap on overtime work for truck drivers being regulated to 960 hours per year. In order to continue transportation in the future, there is an urgent need to secure human resources to increase the number of drivers.
Our company has been developing services in the Tohoku area for some time, and the number of orders in the Tohoku area in fiscal 2023 was 260% compared to the previous year. As a result, we realized that demand from local customers was increasing and decided to open a Sendai branch. By opening a branch in Sendai, we will be more proactive than ever in addressing the driver shortage problem in the Tohoku area and aim to improve customer satisfaction.
