Yokohama City is promoting the development of global human resources so that they can play an active role on the international stage in the future.Since FY2014, Yokohama City has been promoting the “Yokohama City Young People’s Aiming for the World” program, which supports high school students residing in the city or enrolled in the city to study abroad. We are conducting a business. We have now started recruiting for this year. We are looking forward to receiving many applications.

 This is an application for granting subsidies (up to 400,000 yen) for study abroad expenses for students enrolled in high schools, etc. within the city, or students living in the city but enrolled in high schools, etc. outside the city. Individuals can apply, but please submit from the school you are enrolled in.
(1) Number of applicants: Approximately 10 to 20 people
(2) Application deadline: Must arrive by 5:15pm on Friday, May 31st (3) Application documents: Please download and create the various forms necessary for application etc. from the following webpage.

Sister school study abroad program
This is a recruitment slot for granting subsidies (up to 200,000 yen) to participants (up to 2 people each) in study abroad programs run by high schools and civic groups in the city. Individuals cannot apply. After a study abroad program has been selected to receive the subsidy, the high school or civic group that applied will decide which of the program participants will be eligible for the subsidy.
(1) Number of organizations recruiting: Approximately 10 programs (up to 2 people per program can apply)
(2) Application deadline: Must arrive by 5:15pm on Friday, June 7th (3) Application documents: Please download and create the various forms necessary for application etc. from the following webpage.
