Sharp has commercialized the basic model smartphone “AQUOS wish4” as a global model. It will be released from early July this year. Although the display is larger, it is less likely to break, and battery life is greatly improved. It is a model that fits the lifestyles of a wide range of age groups, and is packed with features that make it convenient for first-time smartphone users. In addition to Japan, we plan to gradually roll out (*2) in Taiwan and Singapore.
This device is equipped with a large display of approximately 6.6 inches. The large, easy-to-read display makes it even more convenient to use for studying and research. The screen is made of tempered glass that has passed tests simulating a drop on concrete, so it is durable and won’t break even if accidentally dropped on the street. The main unit is also waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof (*3) compliant with MIL-STD-810H, so you can use it without hesitation in your daily life. In addition, the large capacity 5,000mAh battery provides long battery life. It is also equipped with a nuisance call prevention function that allows you to block suspicious calls, and is packed with features that can be used with peace of mind by people of all ages.
The high-quality camera with approximately 50.1 million pixels is equipped with AQUOS’s proprietary image quality engine “ProPix lite.” It is possible to take clear and sharp pictures of night scenes and portraits. It also supports AI Auto, which automatically selects the shooting mode according to the subject and scene, and Phase Detection AF, which makes it easy to focus even in the dark.
It has a smooth and comfortable texture and a rounded design, and uses colors with a natural texture. Approximately 60% recycled plastic material is used for the housing, making it environmentally friendly. ■ Main features
