Fujisoft Co., Ltd.’s Managing Executive Officer Satoshi Yagi and Kyotaro Kono, General Manager of Generative AI, will be speaking at a panel discussion at the invitation-only event “GitHub Galaxy Tokyo” to be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Based on our past experience, we will introduce process transformation and utilization know-how to maximize the effects of implementing GitHub Copilot.
In recent years, the use of generative AI for the purpose of improving productivity has been progressing, mainly in the information service industry and major system integrators. Among them, GitHub Copilot can be used by installing a dedicated plug-in into an existing code editor, so there is no need to build a new environment and it is easy to implement. However, using GitHub Copilot requires various skills and know-how.
Fujisoft is working on the utilization of generative AI as early as possible, such as by setting up a specialized organization for generative AI.As part of this, we are working on building an in-house utilization platform for GitHub Copilot, building an introduction environment, and conducting implementation verification. I did. Going forward, Fujisoft will further strengthen its collaboration with GitHub Japan LLC, move forward with the full-scale introduction of GitHub Copilot as a measure to improve development productivity, and transform the development process to improve development productivity by utilizing generative AI.
