The CS broadcast “Satellite Theater” will broadcast the full-scale mystery opera “The 46th Secret Room”, which was performed at the KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theater Hall in Kanagawa Prefecture from October 15th to 22nd, 2023, on May 19th (Sunday). It will be broadcast on TV for the first time.
A stage adaptation of “The 46th Secret Room”, the first work in the Hideo Himura series by novelist Arisu Arisugawa. As a buddy work, it depicts the relationship between Hideo Himura and Arisu Arisugawa in an original story for the stage. The cast includes a wide variety of people. Yuki Izawa plays the criminal sociologist Hideo Himura, Yusuke Yada plays the writer Arisu Arisugawa, and the cast also includes Eisuke Tsuda, Rie Yoshizawa, Mai Hika, and Jinai Akutsu. This is a stage adaptation of the popular series that has continued for over 30 years, and is performed as a buddy piece that depicts the relationship between Hideo Himura and Arisu Arisugawa in an original story for the stage.
Yuki Izawa will play the role of Hideo Himura, a criminal sociologist, and Yusuke Yada will play the role of Arisu Arisugawa, a writer. Other cast members include Eisuke Tsuda, Rie Yoshizawa, Mai Hika, and Jinai Akutsu.

Hideo Himura (Yuki Izawa) and Arisu Arisugawa (Yusuke Yada) attend a gathering hosted by Seiichi Makabe (Eisuke Tsuda), a mystery writer known as the “master behind closed doors.”
At the dinner table, Makabe, who has published 45 locked room mysteries and is known as “Japan’s Dixon Car,” effectively announces his graduation from locked room tricks by saying, “I am currently writing my final locked room mystery.”
However, Makabe is discovered in a closed room, his lifeless appearance. Was Makabe really killed by his own 46th trick?
