Now that technologies such as AI and blockchain are rapidly
developing, the nature and significance of education is being reconsidered. This course was held with the aim of deepening the understanding of web3 among the teenage participants, and at the same time getting them interested and hopeful about the future of technology. The program was conducted in two major parts. In the first part, co-representatives Ono and Sato gave presentations. The majority of participants had heard about web3/blockchain, but did not know the specific mechanism. Participants were very interested in the lecture given by professionals who are active at the forefront of the industry. -Presentation content-What is web3? Basic mechanism of blockchain How will society change with web3? After gaining an understanding of the basic structure of web3, the second part consisted of a Q&A session and a workshop. Ono and Sato answered each question posed by the participants regarding the social implementation and technical details of web3. We also held a workshop where participants divided into groups to think about ways to utilize web3, and had them come up with practical ideas such as a combination of blockchain and generative AI. The lecturers were surprised at the high level of questions asked throughout, and it was clear that the participants were thinking about the evolution of technology with a sense of ownership on a daily basis.
