With the recent trends in work style reform and DX promotion in companies, AI-OCR technology, which converts “paper documents” into digital data, is attracting attention as a solution to improve business efficiency and productivity.
In 2018, we released Japan’s first “automated insurance policy analysis service” using AI-OCR technology. Furthermore, by leveraging that know-how, we released “Smart OCR (R)”, an atypical AI-OCR, in 2020, which is used by many government agencies and companies. The “Smart OCR(R)” service provided by our company is capable of highly accurate reading and converting handwritten characters and non-standard forms that are difficult to use with conventional standard OCR, and is currently used by insurance companies and medical institutions. We are expanding our services to various industries that are promoting DX, such as healthcare companies and BPO companies.
In this seminar, we will introduce the mechanism, features, and usage examples of “Smart OCR(R)”.
