Hachikan, a one-guest-per-day inn in Kyoto, currently exhibiting at the International Wellness Tourism EXPO
*Held at Tokyo Big Sight from 5/8 (Wednesday) to 10 (Friday)* Hachikan (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City: Representative: Takahisa
Matsushima), an inn in Ohara, Kyoto that accommodates only one guest per day, is exhibiting at the International Wellness Tourism EXPO being held at Tokyo Big Sight.
Hachikan is an inn that is completely reserved for one group per day and is aimed at wealthy people.You can spend a relaxing time in a house with a history of about 250 years, and enjoy three services: tea ceremony, SPA, and meals. Our concept is to give you a feeling of being well-equipped.
In the main building, you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine in the large hall, which has a traditional stove called “Okudosan” and an “Irori”. The annex is equipped with a dry sauna, thermarium, cypress bath, open-air bath, relaxation room, living room, bedroom, and study. You are free to spend your time as you see fit.
In addition, in the tea room “Joshun” you can experience tea ceremony performed by teachers of each school.
To deepen bonds with family members who are usually far apart, or to celebrate an important anniversary, couples can experience nature without entering the water and experience the eight senses that go beyond their five senses.
At this exhibition that is currently being held, our staff will tell you about the charm of Hachikan, so please stop by and experience the world view for yourself.
