Oirase Academy is a general term for continuing education programs carried out in collaboration with industry, academia, and government for the purpose of disseminating the appeal and value of Oirase, accumulating intellectual information, and developing human resources involved in Oirase.
By providing opportunities for a wide range of people, from children to adults, to utilize the entire nature of Oirase as a place for “learning,” such as field experience learning for elementary and junior high school students that was held in the past year, we are improving the educational curriculum and tourism resources. We are aiming to open a virtual school that combines the following. For the first lecture, we invited Toru Nakashizuka, Chairman of the Forest Research and Management Organization, a national research and development agency specializing in forest ecology, to give a lecture titled “What is necessary to turn Oirase into an open-air museum – ecotourism.” In response to the overall promotion concept, he will give a lecture.
We are looking for a wide range of participants, including the general public, so please invite everyone to come along.
