[Voice Actor Game Club #4 @ Super Voice Actor Festival 2024 Program Report] Daisuke Kishio and Kenji Nojima, led by “Super” manager Toshiyuki Toyonaga, are fighting hard at “DanceDanceRevolution GRAND PRIX”! ?
~Announcing the decision of regular broadcast of the voice actor game club’s long-awaited~
From 18:30 on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, we will bring you the footage of “Voice Actor Game Club #4 @Super Voice Actor Festival 2024” distributed on Niconico Live Broadcast.
This program is a live game program based on the concept of a “moving game special program” featuring Toshiyuki Toyonaga, who plays the role of the manager of the “Voice Actor Game Club,” which is on the verge of extinction. This time, voice actors Daisuke Kishio and Kenji Nojima appeared as club member candidates (guests), and it was broadcast as a special episode of “Super Voice Actor Festival 2024″.

At the opening, Mr. Toshiyuki Toyonaga, also known as the manager, will be participating in the Super Voice Actor Festival 2024, and he cheerfully introduced himself by saying, “Today, I’m Toshiyuki Toyonaga, the “super” manager!”, and the comment section was filled with “super manager lol”, “ “Super LOL” and “Yo! Super Director!”, etc., quickly got the crowd excited. Meanwhile, Toyonaga looked back on the previous episode saying, “It was terrible,” as usual, and viewers followed up with “The solo episode was fun!” and “It was interesting!” As for Toyonaga’s recent gaming situation, he is very addicted to creating and posting his own games using a software called “RPG MAKER WITH.” It seems that he has already published several self-made RPG games, and Toyonaga grins and comments, “I want to try it!” “It looks like it’ll be fun!” is boiling.
While the opening talk was getting lively, a loud knocking sound suddenly rang out. Daisuke Kishio and Kenji Nojima, today’s club member candidates, appeared with a playful greeting of “Sumimamen!”. Toyonaga was excited to see the two wearing blue jerseys and Super Voice Actor Festival T-shirts, saying, “Even though they’re not members yet, they’re dressed like one!” The three of them, who have been close friends for a long time, were all together as they co-starred.

Now, as part of the “entrance examination,” we headed to the “My Game History” corner, which is a customary part of the program and digs deeper into the guest’s gaming history.
Nojima has been a game fan since childhood, saying, “When I was a child, the rule in my house was that I wasn’t allowed to buy games. So, at the time, I used an 8-bit PC to create my own shooting games.” reveals his shocking past. The quality seems to have been quite high. “The three brothers were making games, and there was even a section in a magazine about it. That’s how seriously they were working on programming,” says Nojima. Toyonaga was shocked by this story and exclaimed, “It’s more serious than I expected! I’m no longer a player, I’m a creator!” Viewers also expressed their surprise, saying, “Nojiken-san is so versatile,” “He’s so talented…” and “Amazing!!”
When asked about his memories of gaming, Kishio says, “I think I took a break from school on the day Dragon Quest 3 was released and went to buy it.” “I skipped school on the day it was released and went to the store first thing in the morning, but it wasn’t in stock yet.But I really wanted it, so every 15 minutes I kept checking at the cash register asking, “Are you in stock?” When I went to ask about it, the lady at the cash register said, “I’ll keep it for you, so just go home.” When it arrived, she actually kept it for me, and I went to buy it with a smile on my face. I took a break from school and played Dragon Quest,” he says, reminiscing about his fond memories. There is also a heartwarming scene where Toyonaga says, “It’s like that in your youth.”

The topic then turned to Toyonaga’s “interesting stories unique to gamers.” When asked, “Do the main characters in games like RPGs give themselves names, or do they give them original names?”, Kishio replied, “If you ask me, I’m an original person.I choose names that I think are cool.” Isn’t “Daisuke” cool?” Toyonaga agrees, saying, “I’m an original fan too! I want to give it a cool name that fits the worldview.” On the other hand, Nojima replied, “I wear it as “Nojiko”. It doesn’t cover me too much.” When Kishio immediately asked, “Do you want to play ‘Nojiko’ in a game set in another world?”, Nojima answered with a smile, “I’ll play ‘Yoko no Jiko’,”’ which caused laughter at the scene. .

Next, head to the game corner. This time we played
“DanceDanceRevolution GRAND PRIX”. This game is a music simulation game where you step on arrows flowing from the bottom of the screen in time with the music using the foot panel at your feet. Toyonaga, who loves rhythm games, says, “I played a game called Drum Mania, and it even reached 7th place in the country.I love Drum Mania and KONAMI.” When Toyonaga said, “I also played beatmania, pop’n music,
GUITARFREAKS, and DDR (Dance Dance Revolution),” Kishio replied, “I’m exactly the same way! I played at game arcades since high school when I was about 20 years old.” He was so excited that he was doing so much. Next, Nojima was asked, “What games did you play when you were a student?” He sheepishly said, “I played Pop’n…” and the comments were filled with “So cute!” When Kishio points out, “Are you trying to increase likability?” Nojima is confused, “Eh? Does Pop’n increase likability?” “My brother had a Danrebo, and for a while he kept it in his room to exercise, but it was so hot that he did it completely naked.” (Nojima) When he talked about his unique memories, the studio was filled with laughter. I did.

The songs to be played will be determined by lottery. Manager Toyonaga decides to play “King Gnu” as the top batter. As expected, Toyonaga, who is good at rhythm games, was able to play stably, and the other two players were surprised, saying, “It’s good!?” Although Kishio encouraged the players by pointing arrows in the comments section, they continued to play steadily without panicking, but in the end, perhaps due to fatigue, they ended up making a regrettable mistake. The next Nojima will be “Luka Luka★Night Fever (Samfree)”. “I don’t know the song, but I’m going to go dojo-breaking!” he said with great enthusiasm. True to his enthusiasm, Nojima played in high spirits. While the two cheered, saying things like, “It really looks like you’re dancing at a disco!” and “Your upper body is working harder!”, the viewers also got excited, saying, “Your hands are busy lol” and “Your upper body is amazing lol.” Nojima, who had been dancing a lot, was out of breath and exhausted after the performance. “As expected of you, it was the best!” Toyonaga praised, and I looked over at him and said, “You were dancing with your face.” (Kishio)
Kishio, who serves as the bird, is “SOUVENIR (BUMP OF CHICKEN)”. Because Kishio was worried about his lower back, a three-person cooperative game was started, with him taking charge of the PC keyboard, Toyonaga taking charge of the foot panel, and Nojima taking charge of the ○ buttons. As soon as the game starts, Kishio and Nojima start chatting leisurely, ignoring the game and asking, “Which one is on the right? Is it the one holding the bowl?” “No, it’s the one holding the chopsticks.” . “The game is on!” Toyonaga shouts, and the two get into a conversation, saying, “My spinal disc…” During that time, Toyonaga struggled to play the game almost alone. When they finished playing, Toyonaga protested, saying, “I’m tired! They won’t do it at all!”, but the two of them responded, “Next time, I want to try it with the foot panel. It looks fun!” (Kishio), “It was super fun.” (Nojima) replied with a smile, and the place became lively.
