■Overview of fixed tax reduction system
The fixed amount tax reduction was approved by the Cabinet in the “Reiwa 6 Tax Reform Outline” as part of economic measures to reduce the burden on the people due to the recent rise in prices, and the fixed amount tax reduction will be implemented from June 2024. As a result, 30,000 yen per person will be deducted from income tax for 2024, and 10,000 yen per person will be deducted from personal residence tax, for a total of 40,000 yen. In addition, if you are a salaried employee such as a company employee, a fixed amount of tax reduction will be deducted from the income tax amount on salaries and bonuses paid from June 2024 onwards.
Those eligible for the fixed amount tax reduction are those whose total income related to income tax in 2024 is 18,050,000 yen or less (in the case of salary income only, those whose salary income is 20,000,000 yen or less), and those who have the same livelihood. A total of 40,000 yen per person is also deducted for dependent relatives, including spouses and children under the age of 16. ■Things that can be addressed by implementing this function
By registering the number of spouses and dependents for employees eligible for the fixed amount tax reduction, it becomes possible to automatically calculate the salary/bonus corresponding to the fixed amount tax reduction.

You can automatically calculate the amount to be deducted from income tax (top of the red frame), which is calculated according to the amount of salary and bonuses scheduled to be paid. The amount of income tax actually deducted will be automatically calculated after the fixed amount tax reduction (lower part of the red frame)

■Calculating the fixed amount tax reduction amount considering the fixed amount tax reduction amount already deducted in the past. In addition, the fixed amount tax reduction amount will be
automatically calculated from the monthly salary calculation and bonus calculation, taking into account the fixed amount tax reduction amount deducted from past salary and bonus calculations. You can check the cumulative amount of fixed tax reductions deducted so far and the remaining amount of fixed tax reductions (inside the red frame). The annual fixed amount tax reduction amount is automatically calculated from the monthly salary and bonus income tax, and the fixed amount tax reduction processing is performed until the remaining amount of the fixed amount tax reduction becomes 0.
