Nippon Hine Co., Ltd. and Muranaka Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. join the supporting companies of “Skin Cancer Expert Line”, a project aimed at early detection and early treatment of skin cancer.
Exmedio Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Sawada), which operates the online medical clinic (R) “Hipocura”, a clinical consultation community exclusively for doctors, has launched a specialist consultation program targeting skin cancer. “Skin Cancer Expert Line” launched at National Cancer Center Hospital East
It started in April 2024 under the supervision of the Department of Dermatologic Oncology.
We would like to increase the number of doctors and companies that support skin malignant tumors and expand our activities on a nationwide scale to contribute to early detection and early treatment, which is an issue in skin cancer treatment. .

Nippon Hine Co., Ltd. (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and Muranaka Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. (head office: Osaka City, Osaka
Prefecture) have joined the project as active partners. Nippon Hine Co., Ltd. manufactures dermoscopes used for skin cancer diagnosis, and Muranaka Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. sells them nationwide.
In the future, Nippon Hine Co., Ltd. and Muranaka Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. would like to utilize the experience and networks gained through dermoscope information provision activities to engage in effective activities.
As the first initiative, on July 1st (Monday), a lecture was held at the National Cancer Center Hospital East with the theme of “Basics of dermoscopy and improving diagnostic ability in skin cancer treatment.” Dr. Shunichi Jinnai from the Department of Dermatologic Oncology will be giving a live web seminar.

(Asia Sales Director Saleem Bhalla) The problem with skin cancer diagnosis and treatment in Japan is that “patients are not being seen early enough, and a higher percentage of patients start diagnosis and treatment when their cancer is advanced compared to Europe and the United States.” Under these circumstances, Heine, whose head office is in Germany and has been manufacturing and selling dermatoscopes for many years, supports efforts to solve the problem and is working to collaborate with hospitals and doctors, as well as to raise awareness of the disease.
