Assemble Point Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as Assemble Point), which manufactures and sells the EV minibus “Smart BUS”, will be operating the Ueno Imperial Grant from June 7th (Friday) to June 9th (Sunday), 2024. We will be exhibiting at “Philippine Expo 2024 in Tokyo” which will be held at the park.
“Philippine Expo 2024 in Tokyo” is Japan’s largest Japan-Philippines friendship event that has been held every year since 2018. “Smart BUS” developed by Assemble Point is an EV bus that uses swappable batteries and can be operated without relying on EV charging stations, and is manufactured at a factory in the Philippines. It can be driven in areas where environmental considerations are required or where large EV stations cannot be installed, and it has been introduced in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, so we decided to exhibit it this time.
The vehicle on display this time is the only current model that exists in Japan that can run, and on the day of the event, the EV minibus “Smart BUS”, which was specially wrapped for the event, will actually be on display. It is scheduled to run around the venue carrying event participants.
