New Commerce Ventures Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative Directors: Keita Matsuyama, Kohei Okubo, hereinafter referred to as NCV), which supports DX in retail and distribution, targets those who want to start a business, are preparing to start a business, or are in the early stages of starting a business. We are now accepting applications for the “New Commerce Studio,” a startup support program that helps you hone your business ideas through 1on1 meetings with commerce professionals and introductions to customer interviews.

New Commerce Studio is aimed at people who want to start a business, are preparing to start a business, or are in the early stages of starting a business.We provide one-on-one meetings with senior managers, business companies, and capitalists, introduce customer interviews and demonstration experiment sites, refine business ideas, and improve business operations. This is a companion business start-up support program that increases the probability of success.
At the end of the program, we will hold a demo day to present business ideas, and those who pass the demo day will receive an investment of 10 million to 30 million yen.

The program supports entrepreneurs who are creating the future of commerce through five types of content.

1. 1on1 with a capitalist
We will hold weekly MTG meetings with NCV’s capitalists to brush up on ideas, formulate a roadmap for funding, and provide funding support. By sharing past examples, we reduce the mistakes that tend to occur during the startup period.
2. guest dinner
We will hold a networking event inviting senior executives in the commerce field to receive feedback on each company’s business ideas. This time’s guests are Tatsuya Suzuki, Representative Director of Gifty Co., Ltd. (August 19th), and Noriyoshi Mukahata, Representative Director, President and CEO of GMO Make Shop Co., Ltd. (August 23rd). 3. Mentoring by guest mentors
Set up individual mentoring with guest mentors made up of senior executives and business companies in the commerce field, and start the start-up period by hearing about business practices and expertise in the industry and building relationships with POC customers, business partners, and collaborative partners.
