[Eikei University] We held an overseas entrepreneurship seminar inviting overseas entrepreneur Daisuke Hasegawa.

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Eikei University (President: Mutsuhiro Arinobu, Naka-ku, Hiroshima) will host Mr. Daisuke Hasegawa, an entrepreneur who runs companies in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Armenia. He gave a lecture on the mindset and way of thinking necessary for starting a business, as well as how to increase your own market value, using his own experience.
At the seminar, Mr. Hasegawa introduced himself, and then talked about “the business details of the company he manages,” “The story of how he started his business, future developments and future plans,” “What he wants to accomplish in the future,” and “How to increase his own market value.” He explained about this and so on. Many students seemed impressed by Mr. Hasegawa’s stance of prioritizing experience and enjoyment over money, and of giving it a try first. During the Q&A session, many students asked multiple questions and a lively exchange of opinions took place. Mr. Hasegawa gave us humorous yet sincere answers, making it a very fulfilling time.
In this way, Eikei University carries out various initiatives to foster entrepreneurship among students.
