Information on Ministry of the Environment subsidy projects for startup companies

The Shizuoka Prefecture Environmental Resources Association (General Incorporated Association) acts as an executive organization for the Ministry of the Environment’s startup support projects.
As a Ministry of the Environment subsidy project in FY2020, we will carry out the “Regional Co-Creation/Cross-sectoral Carbon Neutral Technology Development and Demonstration Project (including a business promotion support project for start-up companies)” with the theme of reducing energy-derived CO2 emissions. Regarding the two subsidy projects of the “Environmental Conservation Research Grant
(Environmental Startup R&D Support Project for Creating Innovation)” targeting R&D projects that contribute to the reduction of
energy-derived CO2 emissions (excluding R&D projects that contribute to the reduction of energy-derived CO2 emissions) , public recruitment started on June 3rd.
We are recruiting for a wide range of projects related to startup support in the environmental field, so please consider applying. 1. Regional co-creation/cross-sector carbon neutral technology development/demonstration project (including business promotion support project for startup companies)
●Public recruitment period: June 3, 2020 (Monday) to July 5, 2020 (Friday) at 5:00 p.m.
●Target projects and subsidy amount
Phase 1 (POC/FS) support fixed amount (up to 10 million yen) *This year, we will not be implementing support projects such as application development.

2. FY2020 Environmental Conservation Research Grant (Environmental Startup Research and Development Support Project for Innovation Creation)
●Public recruitment period: Monday, June 3, 2020 – Must arrive by 5pm on Friday, July 5, 2020
*Please note that public recruitment for the FY2020 (revised) Environmental Conservation Research Grant (Environmental Startup Research and Development Support Project for Innovation Creation) (subsidy targets, subsidy amount, etc. will differ slightly) is scheduled to begin soon. . The information session will be held at the same time.

1. Phase 1 (F/S/PoC) support project fixed amount (up to 4 million yen) 2. Phase 2 (R&D) support project: Two-thirds of the target expenses (up to 45 million yen)
