[Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka] Summer vacation special collaboration project ZOO~tto together “Tennoji Zoo” x “Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka” jointly developed afternoon tea and other limited sales
Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka (location: 6-1-55 Uehonmachi, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City) will hold a special summer vacation project for over 100 years from Monday, July 1, 2024 to Saturday, August 31, 2024. We will be conducting our first collaboration with the local independent administrative agency Tennoji Zoo, a zoo in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, which has a long history.

The fragrant tart dough is topped with vanilla mousse, kiwifruit jelly, and a mousse shaped like New Zealand’s national bird, the kiwi. This tart is recommended for summer, with the refreshing sourness of seasonal blueberries and kiwi fruit.

At the end of 2023, Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka has started an initiative to donate lettuce scraps that could not be used in the restaurant to Tennoji Zoo. Although it is a small amount, it is an environmental measure as it leads to a slight reduction in food waste (approximately 4 to 5 kg is provided per week), so we would like to continue implementing it. The lettuce scraps are primarily used as food for chimpanzees at the zoo, and the project works with the local community to contribute to the realization of a recycling-oriented society.
