Overview of SoundUD compatible intercom at Narita International Airport At Narita International Airport, we are introducing an intercom service called “Smartphone Intercom,” which allows you to read the QR code displayed on the trigger board with your smartphone and call a person in charge of a remote facility without the need for a special app. For the first time, it is also possible to use the intercom service on the touch panel display of a stationary monitor terminal compatible with Windows. Personnel in charge at the airport (facility) can receive communications from customers in multiple languages, both in voice and text, using the facility’s app “Omotenashi Guide for Biz.” Both the “smartphone intercom” and the stationary monitor terminal can respond using the same app, allowing for simple operation.
