Well-being concepts such as wellness, mental health, and mindfulness have long been attracting attention in Europe and the United States as ways for working people to maintain their physical and mental health. Although it is gradually gaining popularity among business leaders who drive the industry in Japan, it is still far from common.
Particularly overlooked is the wellbeing of professional freelancers. If you put your well-being on the back burner, your creativity and concentration will decrease, making you less efficient at work, which will lead to even more stress. If this happens, the quality of work will inevitably decline, which is expected to have an impact on the careers of professional freelancers.
