“ENBITE” (https://hb.en-japan.com/) is a recruitment site that collects “temporary part-time jobs” operated by EN Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Koji Suzuki). ), we conducted a survey of users of the site regarding their “commitment to employment type.” We received responses from 1,477 people. We will report the results below.

Survey results summary
★ 61% answered that they were looking for a job as a side job/double work. ★ 79% answered that they are particular about their employment type. ★ The top three conditions that are more important than employment type are “location of work,” “work content,” and “hourly wage.” Survey results details
1:61% answered, “I’m looking for a job as a side job/double work.” (Figures 1-2) When asked, “Are you currently looking for a job?”, 92% answered “I am looking.” Also, when we asked those who answered “I’m looking”, “Are you looking for a main job? A side job/double work?”, 61% answered “side job/double work,” and “main job/double work” was the answer. This result was significantly higher than the number of respondents who responded, “My job is” (39%).

2: 79% answered that they were particular about their employment type. (Figures 3-4)
When we asked those who answered that they were looking for a job, “Are you particular about the employment type of the job you are looking for?”, 79% answered “Yes” (Yes: 38%; Somewhat yes (41%). When asked about the employment type of the job they are looking for among those who answered “I am particular about the type of
employment,” the most common answer was “part-time/part-time” (47%). This is followed by “temporary employees” (18%) and “regular employees” (13%). I would also like to comment on the reason. [Figure 3] We will ask those who answered that they are looking for a job. Are you particular about the type of employment you are looking for?

Those who chose “Full-time employee”
・Because you are looking for stability. (Female in her 20s)

When we asked those who answered that they were particular about the type of employment, “What conditions do you value more than the type of employment?”, the top three responses were “place of work” (17%) and “job content ( (14%) and “Hourly wage” (14%). We will also introduce specific comments.

Those who selected “work location”
・I don’t have a car, so I would like to work in a place where I can walk to work. (Male in his 20s)
・I don’t want to waste effort commuting. (Female in her 40s) Those who selected “Job content (occupation type)”
・I want to take advantage of my current position as a
technical/specialist. (Female in her 20s)
・Because I am looking for a side job, I would like to have a different type of job than my main job. (Female in her 30s)
Those who selected “hourly wage”
・Hourly wage is high and location is good. (Female in her 20s) ・Life is difficult unless the hourly wage is 1,600 yen or more. Because I can’t even maintain my car. (Male in his 60s)
