[Lurf MUSEUM] Ceramic artist Hikaru Masuda’s solo exhibition “The Days You Know” will be held at Roof Museum 1F from Wednesday, June 26, 2024 The Roof Museum 1F will be holding a solo exhibition by ceramic artist Hikaru Masuda, “The Days You Know.”
Ceramic artist Hikaru Masuda creates a wide range of works, including tableware and ornaments with bear motifs, vessels with animal paintings, kokeshi sake bottles, and Daruma sake cups. This
exhibition, “The Days You Know,” is a new exhibition that
incorporates motifs with a holiday feel, such as surfing,
skateboarding, and resorts.
What is everyday life for someone may be extraordinary for you. Hikaru Masuda’s works add new color to your daily life, and sometimes give you a feeling of something out of the ordinary.
Exhibited works will be sold at the venue. In addition, original Hikaru Masuda x Lurf MUSEUM goods created for this exhibition will be sold at the venue and on the website.
Additionally, Hikaru Masuda’s ceramic tote bag, which is a triple collaboration with ROOTOTE, will be available in limited quantities. The exhibition period will be from Wednesday, June 26, 2024 to Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Due to the expected crowds on the first day of the solo exhibition, numbered tickets will be used from 11:00 to 15:00. Numbered tickets will be replaced for 30 minutes with 15 people per slot. Lurf opened in June 2022, 5 minutes walk from Daikanyama Station, Tokyo MUSEUM (Roof Museum) is a museum-sized gallery. The second floor is an alternative space with an area of 70 tsubo and a ceiling height of approximately 4 meters, where artists can freely express themselves and develop experimental endeavors. The first floor is a cafe space equipped with Danish vintage furniture from the 1930s, and serves hand-drip coffee that is brewed one cup at a time. You can spend a relaxing and comfortable time while admiring the art. There is also a shop where you can purchase artist goods. We aim to become a new place for artists and people to continue dialogue.
