Last year, TAKANO (Representative: Masaaki Takano) released
meliordesign, tableware that can be easily cleaned by rinsing with water, as an innovative product that enables eco-friendly dishwashing and time-saving housework without the need for detergent. It attracted attention.
We have now released a new product called “Melior Design Sheet” that can restore the dirt removal function of tableware to like new condition. Just wipe the dishes quickly with a wet tissue-like sheet and let them dry. You can also expect the effect to be on the ceramic tableware you have at home. Even if the dirt removal function of the tableware deteriorates as you use it, you can restore it to its original state at any time with this sheet. It will be on sale from June 15th at official online shops.

“Factory Store” is now open! Free trial session for sheet processing
In conjunction with the release of “Melior Design Sheet,” the Osaka factory will open as a “factory store.” Tableware and sheets will be sold at a part of the factory where staff members usually work on product development. To commemorate the opening, we will be holding a free trial session on the 15th where you can try out the effects of the sheet on a plate at home.

Each person can bring in up to four tableware from home and experience the process of wiping them with a sheet and adding functionality to them. It is recommended that the tableware be made of ceramic and not treated with special treatments such as water repellent.

Even after the 15th, the Osaka Factory “Factory Store” will provide many services. If you bring in “Melior Design” tableware, we will restore the stain removal function to new condition for free. For a fee, we can also treat ceramics and other items in your home to remove stains. In addition, “Melior Design” tableware, which until now had to be discarded as non-standard, will be sold as an outlet item only at the Osaka factory. You can also try out a new household faucet equipped with the super water-saving nozzle “Bubble 90.” We would like to listen directly to customer feedback and use it to develop better products, so please feel free to visit us.
